ANNA DAAN, MAHA DAAN

"Hunger and poverty are not a curse, it's an accident & we all can provide succour to feed the needy & improve their plight."

There are lakhs of people who live with malnourishment and hunger purely because they cannot afford to buy food items, nutritious food or the supplies required to grow/cook enough food sufficient enough for them and their family members which is an unfortunate predicament which they are suffering. Hunger is a dimension of extreme poverty and is often the most severe and critical manifestation of poverty.

Indian tradition dictates that offering knowledge to the less fortunate or feeding the needy are considered to be amongst the most pious of acts that one can undertake. In order to revive this tradition and to provide food to the poor and underprivileged sections of the society, We, at MAA Foundation, aim to provide meals to feed the hungry through this pious and traditional act of Anna Daan.
